Security Tips: Interacting with other Avatars
The easiest way to verify an avatar's identity is to right click on them with your mouse and then check their profile information. You will notice that the avatar's profile information will have designations known as "membership group tags". Check the name of the avatar. There are only three authorized staff avatar on toronto.uk.com: SigniumX (the group's founder), TorontoX, or EmpyreanX. Double check their membership tag: "Toronto.uk.com". For new avatars, a good rule of thumb is to interact with avatars that you know to avoid mischievous actors. Only speak to staff avatar and do not share your personal information with anyone unless you have visited our physical office. You may also send an email to SigniumX@gmail.com to arrange for a virtual meeting for enhanced security. For new users, start with e-mailing. If ever in doubt when speaking to another avatar, log-out and report. Never agree to accept text message requests via smart phone or reply via text message because we do not use these methods of authentication.

You can build Your Shop or Your Home anywhere on the metaverse platforms and be listed in our Metaverse Database Directory (MDD).
You'll notice that on the metaverse, you can rent or own virtual shops and homes on their servers. FYI: we maintain a metaverse database directory (called the 'MDD') for registered members who open an online shop or home on the metaverse (and internet). The Metaverse Database Directory (MDD) allows global users to search the profiles of our registered members on toronto.uk.com to transact business or setup virtual meetings. This is just one of the features of World 2 registered membership. It is for this reason that we verify provisional members who are new avatars.
To get a featured profile (FP) in addition to the MDD listing, (FP may incur a nominal fee - depending on what is being featured), we can showcase a user's profile, business, club, and social media account, on toronto.uk.com for other Torontonians and users around the world. It is an inter-connected tech ecosystem. For users who want to explore the metaverse beyond Second Life's platform, instructions to the OpenSim metaverse platform and Firestorm Viewer are contained in World 2. MDD also includes listings to other metaverse platforms, such as OpenSim, Decentraland, The Sandbox, and Meta.
